Refund Policy
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days since your purchase, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@gardendepot.com.au.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@gardendepot.com.au
Shipping
Contact us at hello@gardendepot.com.au for shipping details depending on your product.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Item Specific Policy
Garden Sheds: Garden Shed order cancellations after manufacture and dispatch will incur a 25% restocking fee of the retail price plus all freight charges incurred for the return of the goods. Garden Sheds must be received back in a saleable condition.
Cancellation
Once garden shed kits have gone into manufacturing you will not be able to cancel your order for a full refund.
If you choose to cancel your product, during or post manufacturing a store credit, less 25% restocking fees will be provided.
If you wish to cancel your order please get in touch with our staff immediately so we can check the status of your order.
Return / Change of Mind
If you receive your purchase and are not completely satisfied OR if you change your mind, we will accept returns of items within 30 days of receipt of goods.
New unopened items may be returned within 30 days for a store credit less 25% restocking fees and return shipping. Delivery costs are non-refundable.
Store credits will be issued after receipt of goods in saleable condition by supplier. Please note this applies to stocked items only.
Garages, Smartlockers, Workshops and Carports: These steel buildings are manufactured to the customer’s specific order request and cannot to be cancelled once manufacture has commenced.

Garages, Carports, Smartlockers and Workshops: These steel buildings are manufactured to individual specifications. As they are made to order they are not able to be cancelled once manufacture has commenced.
Return/Change of Mind
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact our customer service team to discuss from the contact page
Replacement/faulty: Where product supplied is damaged in transport or found to be faulty we will provide a replacement free of charge of the damaged or faulty components or product in a timely manner.
NB. Goods assessed to be damaged by misuse or accident outside the control of Spanbilt will incur a charge for any replacement components or product.
